These 12” x 1” x 12” maps use all the advanced electronics of the larger versions to display weather data in real time using the four standard FAA flight category colors: Green/VFR, Blue/MVFR, Red/IFR, Magenta/LIFR.

METARmaps™
Time to Fly!
Technology and aviation have been my passion as long as I can remember. Working in the IT / manufacturing industry for most of my adult life fulfilled one passion. As a pilot and aircraft owner, I’ve been blessed with being able to indulge the other. As is the inspiration for so many innovative things, METARmaps needed a convergence of seemingly disparate pieces to fall together. Once METARmaps was born, continuous improvement and the quest to provide an amazing Customer Experience has been at the forefront of everything we do.
In my view, the purpose of a METAR map is to glance at the weather hanging on the wall as a virtual backyard window – albeit, a very LARGE backyard for which, thankfully, I don’t have to cut the grass.
